QUESTIONS

Common questions

Setup, automation, and staff access.

Can I use Sharkcord with an existing server?

Yes. Connect a server you own or manage and import its current channels and roles. Start with that structure, or plan additions from a template. You review a build before it changes Discord.

What can I automate?

Start from 28 recipes for welcomes, roles, scheduled messages, member follow-ups, and supported widget interactions. Arrange and edit the steps visually. AI can help draft a workflow; you choose its settings and decide when to enable it.

Does every moderator need the web app?

No. Ticket staff can claim, reply, close, and reopen from Discord. The server owner can also invite current members to selected staff-desk pages, with an expiry. Their Discord roles and permissions still determine what they can access.

How do private tickets work?

A ticket panel opens a private Discord channel for the requester and your selected support roles. Owners and administrators retain Discord’s access. Sharkcord saves intake, explicit replies, and staff notes; local conversation text expires 30 days after closure. Optional capture of ordinary ticket messages is configured separately.

Do I need to learn a new way to manage Discord?

Start with one thing: a useful server template, a welcome workflow, or a support panel. Your server remains in Discord, and changes to channels and roles sync back to Sharkcord. The short product tour above shows the main ideas before you connect.
