Effective date: September 14, 2026
Operator: Sharkcord
Reports and support: support@sharkcord.com
This policy applies to the Sharkcord dashboard, bot, AI features, templates, widgets, and automations. It forms part of the Terms of Service. It does not replace Discord’s Community Guidelines or other rules that apply to your server or purchases.
Use the tools with authority and care
Manage only servers, channels, roles, and accounts you are authorized to manage. Explain relevant bot features to members, especially ticket mirroring, forms, moderation records, and automated actions. Make the explanation available in your server’s rules, welcome channel, or relevant feature panel.
Limit staff access to the people who need it. Review channel visibility, role assignments, giveaway conditions, and workflow actions before publishing. A private ticket is not confidential from Discord administrators or properly authorized support staff. Do not promise members otherwise.
Prohibited uses
Do not use Sharkcord to:
- Break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, threaten or harass people, organize raids, spread malware, conduct scams, or facilitate unlawful gambling.
- Collect passwords, login tokens, payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical records, or other regulated or highly sensitive information through prompts, ticket forms, applications, or bot interactions.
- Create fake activity, inflate membership or engagement, sell members, send unsolicited promotions or mass messages, or use member information for advertising or off-platform contact without a valid permitted basis.
- Bypass Discord permissions, age restrictions, user blocks, rate limits, or platform enforcement; scrape member data; or circumvent Sharkcord access controls and usage limits.
- Use member data for unrelated profiling, discrimination, or consequential eligibility decisions such as employment, credit, housing, education admissions, or insurance. Community application forms are for ordinary community participation, not those decisions.
- Collect data about children below Discord’s minimum age, distribute sexual content involving minors, or use Sharkcord to deliver age-inappropriate content. Sharkcord is not offered as a tool for adult-content communities.
- Use deceptive “verification,” credential traps, or harmful bait. Any anti-abuse decoy must remain a harmless, clearly bounded moderation measure, collect no credentials or sensitive data, and allow moderator review of mistakes.
- Train AI models on Discord message content obtained through the API, or submit private conversations to Sharkcord’s AI without appropriate authority and a supported, disclosed purpose.
Tickets, forms, and moderation
Ask only for information needed to resolve the request or operate the stated feature. Do not use tickets or forms to collect identity documents, medical information, payment credentials, or personal financial records. Keep sensitive information out of both free-text questions and attachments.
Provide a way for members to contact a human moderator about a mistaken restriction. Restrict transcript exports and staff notes to authorized people, and delete unnecessary copies. Do not publish private complaints or moderation evidence to shame a member. Sharkcord’s records are operational aids and may be incomplete; they are not certified evidence or a guarantee of a person’s identity or trustworthiness.
Giveaways and promotions
The community organizer is responsible for its promotion, including prizes, eligibility, official rules, selection, delivery, taxes, and legal requirements. Sharkcord supplies software and does not sponsor, insure, fund, or fulfill community prizes unless a separate announcement expressly says so.
Publish rules before accepting entries. Identify the organizer, start and end times with time zone, eligibility and exclusions, prize description, how to enter, how winners are chosen and contacted, claim deadlines, and what happens if a winner is ineligible. Avoid changing material rules after entries begin.
Do not require payment, a paid subscription, a donation, or a purchase for entry or better odds through Sharkcord. Do not use invitation requirements to encourage spam or artificial engagement. Do not run unlawful lotteries or offer prohibited prizes. A random selection feature does not itself make a promotion legally compliant. Do not imply endorsement by Discord, Whop, or Sharkcord.
Reporting, enforcement, and review
Report misuse, security concerns, or suspected policy violations to support@sharkcord.com. Include the relevant server, channel, widget, or incident reference and a short explanation. Do not send illegal material, credentials, or unrelated private transcripts as evidence. For an immediate physical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service; this inbox is not an emergency service.
We review reports and may restrict a feature, request corrections, suspend access, or terminate service as appropriate to the issue. Urgent security or safety restrictions may happen before notice. You may request review through the same email. We may notify Discord or other appropriate providers or authorities when required or warranted. Enforcement does not remove statutory refund, privacy, or complaint rights.
