Terms of Service

The terms for using Sharkcord’s website, Discord bot, and community tools.

Effective date: September 14, 2026

Operator: Sharkcord

Contact: support@sharkcord.com

1. Your agreement with Sharkcord

These Terms govern the Sharkcord website, dashboard, Discord bot, templates, widgets, automations, and related services (the “Service”). “Sharkcord,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the Sharkcord service, reachable at support@sharkcord.com. Sharkcord is the service’s trading name.

By affirmatively accepting these Terms when presented, you enter into this agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. These Terms incorporate our Acceptable Use Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling; accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent that privacy law requires.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract to register for the web dashboard, purchase a plan, or administer Sharkcord. Members interacting with the bot must satisfy Discord’s minimum age and applicable local age requirements. Where a member is not old enough to agree independently, a parent or guardian must authorize their use. Server administrators must not use Sharkcord to collect information from children below Discord’s minimum age.

2. What the Service provides

Sharkcord helps authorized people build and manage Discord communities. Depending on the enabled features and plan, it can manage channels and roles, run workflows, publish interactive widgets, handle support tickets and moderation actions, and report observed community activity. AI assistance may produce editable plans and workflow drafts.

The plan description and checkout presented for your purchase identify what is included. Samples, demo data, roadmap items, and illustrations are not promises that a feature is available or included. A subscription buys access for its stated period; it does not buy the software or lifetime service.

3. Accounts, authority, and access

Use Discord’s official authorization flow. Never provide your Discord password, account token, or payment-card details in a Sharkcord prompt or support ticket. Protect your accounts and report suspected unauthorized access to support@sharkcord.com.

You may connect and operate only servers and resources you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for selecting staff access, bot permissions, and the configuration you enable. A billing purchase does not make the purchaser a Discord administrator or grant permission to read tickets. Changes in server ownership or staff roles can change dashboard access.

Before enabling a feature, review what it will read, publish, or change. Give the bot only the permissions needed for the functions you choose, and review those permissions periodically. Server owners remain responsible for their own moderation decisions and staff conduct.

4. Builds, workflows, and moderation

Approving a build or enabling an automation authorizes the described operations within the selected server and configuration. An enabled automation may act later when its trigger occurs, without a separate approval for every run. Review its audience, permissions, conditions, and consequences before enabling it.

Changes can affect real channels, roles, messages, membership, and access. Discord permissions, role hierarchy, rate limits, outages, and concurrent edits can prevent or partially complete an operation. Check results and use available recovery controls. Keep copies of configurations and content that matter to you; the Service is not a guaranteed backup or disaster-recovery system.

Moderation filters and suspicious-account indicators can miss abuse or flag legitimate activity. They are tools for human moderators, not proof of wrongdoing. Provide a reasonable way for members to contact your moderation team or appeal decisions. Invite attribution and analytics are based on events Sharkcord observes and are not guaranteed to be complete or exact.

5. AI-assisted features

AI features use an external provider, currently OpenAI, as described in the Privacy Policy. Submit only information you are authorized to provide. Do not include secrets, private member conversations, or regulated or highly sensitive information in prompts.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable, or similar to output provided to others. Review and edit it before approving server changes or enabling a workflow. Generated content is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee originality, exclusivity, or a particular outcome.

AI availability and usage allowances depend on your plan. Free access and the management trial do not include AI. An allowance is access to a feature, not a cash balance or transferable currency. The usage period and remaining allowance are shown in the Service. Contact support about an incorrect usage deduction.

6. Free access, trials, and paid plans

Free access is subject to the limits displayed in the Service. Premium templates and other premium capabilities require an eligible paid plan. Previewing a template does not necessarily grant permission to publish it.

The seven-day management trial requires an eligible server owner to start it. It provides the stated management features, but no AI, premium builder access, or additional Free template-assisted build. It requires no payment card and ends without automatically charging you. Eligibility is limited to one trial per server and owner. The separate Free template-assisted build allowance is also limited per server and owner. Reinstalling the bot, changing accounts, or transferring a server does not create an entitlement to repeat introductory offers. Contact support to correct an eligibility error; enforcing an allowance does not override data-deletion rights.

Paid plans apply to the selected server, not every server you own. Unless your offer expressly says otherwise, they renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until canceled. A 30-day subscription renews every 30 days, which may fall on different calendar dates. Taxes and any additional charge must be disclosed before purchase. No paid subscription starts merely because a trial ends.

Purchases through Whop are also subject to Whop’s applicable checkout and platform terms. Purchases through Discord are also subject to Discord’s applicable purchase terms. Check the provider named on your receipt. Avoid buying the same coverage twice through different providers; duplicate purchases do not automatically combine or extend benefits. Contact support if that happens.

Cancellation, refunds, failed payments, and downgrade effects are explained in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Changing a server’s owner does not automatically transfer the payer’s subscription or stop recurring charges.

7. Content and software rights

You retain whatever rights you have in your original content and configurations. You grant us a limited, nonexclusive license to process, store, reproduce, transmit, and display that material only as needed to provide and secure the Service, carry out your instructions, and meet applicable obligations. This permission does not authorize selling your content or using Discord message content to train AI models.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for content you submit, including content belonging to members. We do not acquire ownership of your Discord server or its member content. Discord and other providers have their own terms for content supplied to them.

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, branding, and supplied materials. Subject to your plan and these Terms, you receive a limited, nonexclusive license to use them in servers you are authorized to manage. You may adapt supplied templates within that use. You may not redistribute the paid template library as a competing product, resell access without permission, or bypass license or access controls. Statutory exceptions and applicable open-source licenses remain effective.

Canceling a subscription does not require you to delete channels, roles, or content already lawfully created in your Discord server. It does not grant continuing access to premium generation, template publication, or automation services.

8. Third-party platforms

Sharkcord is independently operated and is not endorsed or operated by Discord, Whop, or OpenAI. Those providers are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for Sharkcord’s promises. Nothing here changes your agreements with them or authorizes violating their rules. Discord’s applicable rules control where these Terms would otherwise conflict with them.

The Service depends on third-party systems. Their outages, permission changes, enforcement actions, or discontinued capabilities may affect availability. We will use reasonable efforts to address service problems, but cannot guarantee their availability or restore a Discord account or server they remove.

9. Changes, suspension, and ending service

We may change the Service and plan offerings. Material reductions to a purchased plan or increases to its recurring price will be communicated before taking effect, with an opportunity to cancel and any additional notice or consent required by law. Unless required for security, legal compliance, or a platform dependency, material reductions will apply from a future renewal rather than taking away an already-paid period without an appropriate remedy.

We may restrict features or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, unauthorized access, nonpayment, legal requirements, or a material violation of these Terms. Where practicable, we will explain the issue and allow correction. Urgent protective action may occur first. You can request review at support@sharkcord.com.

You may stop using the Service, remove the bot, and request account deletion. Removing the bot or signing out does not cancel a subscription. Cancel through the billing provider or contact support. If we permanently discontinue a paid service or terminate your access without a material breach by you, we will refund the unused prepaid portion of that service. Other refund rights remain available under law and provider rules.

Data handling when service ends follows the Privacy Policy. Clauses that by their nature should survive, including accrued payment obligations, ownership, dispute provisions, and liability limits, continue to the extent lawful.

10. Warranties and liability

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Except for that commitment, express promises in your offer, and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free moderation, AI output, or server changes.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under this agreement for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business opportunities. Our total liability arising from the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of US $100 or the fees you paid for Sharkcord during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit. They do not reduce refunds expressly promised in these policies. Nothing here makes you responsible for our own negligence or unlawful conduct.

11. Resolving disputes

Contact support@sharkcord.com with the issue and the resolution you seek. We will try to resolve it informally. Contacting us first is encouraged, not a condition for exercising a statutory complaint, court, payment-dispute, or urgent-relief right.

Florida law governs this agreement to the extent permitted by law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their place of residence. A dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. A payment provider’s separate agreement may contain its own dispute provisions.

12. General provisions and updates

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent lawful. Failing to enforce a provision once does not waive it. These Terms, the incorporated policies, and the offer you accept form the agreement about the Service; they do not override nonwaivable rights or separate written commitments we make to you.

We may transfer the Service to a successor, including an entity formed to operate Sharkcord, only consistently with applicable law and your rights. We will identify the new operator and give any required notice or obtain any required consent. Any transfer does not remove obligations already owed to you.

We will post updated Terms with an effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will not retroactively alter an existing dispute. Where acceptance is required, we will request it rather than infer it from silence.
